SAB Avionics Ltd also offers a mobile service where we can travel to your aircraft to carry out any required work. Distance is no object, for example in 2008 we did a bi-annual check on a NZ registered R22 in Indonesia and in 2009 we travelled to Pago Pago, American Samoa to carry out repairs on a Hughes 369C .
Bi-annual Avionics inspections have been carried out on most models of General Aviation aircraft from Spitfire and Hurricane to Tecnams and RV’s
Fault rectification on Electrical, Instrument, Autopilots and Radio Systems is carried out when the need arises.
Projects have included major overhauls on Hughes 500’s and Eurocopter AS350’s, Avionic and system upgrades on both fixed and rotary wing aircraft including Percival Proctor, DH82A Tiger Moth, Cessna 180, 185, Robinson R22, R44 Bell 407.
